Mumbai: This World Book Day Sony PIX and AXN, celebrate the love for books with prominent author Chetan Bhagat. His books have been adapted into movies that have seen huge success at the box office. So, he is curating a special line up of movies and shows that are based on his favourite books for Sony PIX and AXN respectively.
Chetan will also bring his creative expertise to talk about shows and films that owe their popularity to words in print, in an exclusive Facebook Live session at 3 pm On Tuesday April 23 – the World Book Day.
To take the celebration forward, Sony PIX, home to biggest Hollywood movies, will showcase some of the most critically acclaimed book adaptations like the Harry Potter series, The Shawshank Redemption, The Notebook, Argo and Sherlock to name a few. AXN, on the other hand, will air shows that are not only inspired by books but are also loved by viewers internationally such as Vikings, Sherlock, Handmaid’s Tale etc.
SPN English Cluster dedicates the month of May to book lovers and the great adaptations that have wowed viewers on the screen.
