Kolkata: Star Jalsha is set to telecast the six-hour-long mega celebration Star Jalsha Paribar Award 2021 on 4th April. The mega event cum award show will start with an hour-long curtain-raiser episode at 5 pm. The star-studded curtain-raiser episode will feature the exciting journey of Jalsha Paribar members to a magnificent coral (fictitious) island – Jhinuk Dwip. The Paribar members will be seen going on a cruise to reach the island. The audience will experience sweet and entertaining moments in the form of fun games & riveting conversations amongst the cast members across shows.
At 6pm, the Main Event will unfold – Bengal’s mega Carnival, Star Jalsha Paribar Award.
The 5-hour long visual extravaganza will showcase stellar performances, mesmerizing acts and heart-touching moments of love and bonding amongst Star Jalsha characters, ace celebrities and junior dancing talents of Bengal.
E.g. Pure moments of love will be relived as Bengal’s favourite duos like Mohor-Shonkho, Charu Arya, Shantu-Purna, and others will be seen dancing on a romantic act. The audience will get a non-stop dose of pulsating performances by Superstar Dev and Rukmini, Ankush besides an electrifying dance performance by Dance Dance Junior season 2 participants led by Monami. The evening will also have melody king, Kumar Sanu along with the female leads of Star Jalsha performing for the audience.
This spectacle will happen at the backdrop of a mesmerizing set – a visual recreation of the fictitious and grand Jhinuk Dwip, that will surely catch the viewers by surprise.
Star Jalsha Paribar award is not only about such stunning performances and fun-filled moments, but it is a platform to acknowledge the power of relationships.
Bengal will wait with bated breath throughout the event to know who will win the titles of Priyo Maa, Priyo Meye, Priyo Juti, Priyo Parivaar and other award categories. This year, the SJPA 2021 Jury panel comprises of Prosenjit Chatterjee, Arpita Chatterjee and Haranath Chakraborty. The panel went through all the nominations relentlessly to decide the most deserving winners from each category except the four popular choice categories, where the winners will be declared basis audience voting.
For the first time, Superstar Mithun Chakraborty and ace actor Jisshu U Sengupta will grace the stage together as hosts of Star Jalsha Paribar Awards. Their comedic timing and bitter-sweet banter will keep the audience on the edge of their seats throughout the show. The viewers are in treat for a roller -coaster ride of laughter as the duo engages with other members of the Jalsha Paribar.
