Yesterday, Sudhanshu Vats’ news of moving on from of Viacom18 as Group CEO and MD shocked the entire broadcast fraternity and speculations of the Sony Viacom18 acquisition resurfaced once again.
According to sources Sudhanshu Vats is set to go back to the FMCG sector, the sector where he spent most of his career and will join Essel Propack as their MD and CEO.
Essel Propack is a global brand that manufactures laminated & coex tubes for the FMCG and Pharma space.
Vats is supposed to join Essel Propack from tomorrow that is 16th, April 2020. His last working day at Viacom18 was today the 15th of April 2020.
Well, does this put an end to the speculations or drive them further is something that time will only tell. As per the latest updates the board of Essel Propack has designated Vats as key managerial personnel pursuant to the Companies Act 2013.
