Mumbai: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has announced the elevation of Sujal Parekh to its senior management team, effective March 31, 2026, as part of changes disclosed under SEBI regulations.
Parekh, who currently serves as Business Head of Zee Music, will now take on broader responsibilities within the company’s leadership framework. He has been instrumental in driving the growth strategy of the company’s music business and brings over two decades of experience in the media and entertainment industry.
Prior to joining ZEEL, Parekh held leadership roles at Warner Music (India & SAARC), where he served as General Manager and Director. During his tenure, he led the acquisition and integration of platforms such as Divo TV, E-Positive, SkillBox, and Global Music Junction, significantly expanding the company’s presence across digital media, regional content, artist management, and live entertainment.
In a parallel development, Vikas Somani, Senior Management Personnel and Head – Strategy, M&A, and Investor Relations, has resigned from the company to pursue opportunities outside the organisation. His resignation is effective March 31, 2026.
The company acknowledged Somani’s contributions during his tenure and extended its best wishes for his future endeavours.
