SuperGaming sets launch date for Indus Battle Royale

Pune: SuperGaming, a game development studio in India, has officially announced the launch date for its much-anticipated battle royale game, Indus. Set to be released on October 16, 2024, Indus will be available for download on both Android and iOS platforms via the Google Play Store and iOS App Store, promising an exciting new gaming experience for players worldwide.

Following a successful open beta phase, the game has garnered significant interest, with over **12.5 million pre-registrations** on Android alone. The feedback from players during the beta testing period has been instrumental in refining the game’s features and mechanics, creating considerable momentum ahead of its official launch.

Roby John, Co-founder and CEO of SuperGaming, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “With the launch of Indus, we’re not just introducing a game—we’re presenting a unique take on the battle royale genre to the world. Our vision with Indus has always been to showcase Indian art and culture through unique characters, weapons, and stories rooted in Indian heritage. The overwhelming support from our community during the beta phase has helped us fine-tune key aspects of Indus, and we’re excited for the world to experience what the SuperGaming team has built.”

To accompany the launch announcement, SuperGaming unveiled an epic cinematic trailer showcasing high-stakes combat across dynamic battlegrounds. The trailer follows the journey of Adi, the leader of his squad, as he enters the world of Virlok with two goals: to collect the rare resource Cosmium and to confront his nemesis, Pokhran. Viewers will witness Adi’s evolution from a novice to a formidable player, culminating in an intense showdown against Pokhran.

Indus introduces a fresh twist to the battle royale genre with its **dual victory condition**. Players can win by either being the last person standing or by strategically collecting Cosmium, which spawns in the last circle of **Nirvana**, adding a new layer of complexity to traditional gameplay. Additionally, the game features the **Grudge system**, allowing players to track down and face off against opponents who previously defeated them.
