Mumbai: ITV Digital, the digital arm of ITV Network, has recorded exponential growth in 2025, driven by a focused transformation strategy led by Akshansh Yadav, CEO Digital. The network achieved record gains across revenue, traffic, and audience engagement, even as the wider media industry continued to face structural and monetisation challenges.
Taking charge during a phase of organisational transition, Yadav implemented a sharp execution-led approach centred on financial discipline, scalable systems, and sustainable growth. Under his leadership, ITV Digital posted a 185% surge in digital revenue, underscoring a clear shift towards profit-led expansion.
The network’s digital platforms witnessed rapid audience momentum, registering six-fold growth in site traffic within just three months. Digital properties continued to scale at nearly 100% month-on-month, while ITV Digital’s YouTube portfolio grew 130% as a group. Flagship video brands consistently delivered 35% MoM growth, establishing video as a core engine of digital expansion.
A major industry milestone for the network was its debut in ComScore rankings, where ITV Digital entered ahead of established players such as DNA India, The Wire, WION News, Jio News, NDTV Profit, and Manorama News. The achievement reflects the network’s digital-first strategy and its ability to compete at scale through data-driven execution and audience-centric content.
Reflecting on his transition from a Chief Product & Technology role to CEO Digital, Akshansh Yadav said, “The shift required a broader business mindset owning the P&L, leading revenue conversations, and aligning finance, HR, product, and distribution under a common growth vision. The focus has been on building strong fundamentals that enable sustainable scale.”
Beyond performance metrics, Yadav has strengthened leadership depth at ITV Digital, with senior heads of Finance, HR, Product, SEO, and Editorial reporting directly to him. His leadership philosophy emphasises clarity, accountability, and empathy, enabling faster decision-making while preserving organisational culture.
An active thought leader on LinkedIn, Yadav regularly shares insights on digital media, leadership, productivity, and business strategy, advocating transparent leadership and learning-driven growth.
Looking ahead, ITV Digital’s 2026 roadmap includes deepening monetisation strategies, building differentiated digital IPs, and leveraging AI-led efficiencies to further strengthen audience engagement and operational scale.
“Digital media today demands speed, discipline, and credibility,” Yadav added. “Our focus is to compound growth by building long-term value, not just short-term scale.”
Summing up the network’s growth philosophy, Yadav stated, “Sustainable audience growth comes from strong fundamentals, not short term traffic spikes.”
With strong fundamentals and accelerating momentum, ITV Digital continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s fastest-growing digital news networks under Akshansh Yadav’s leadership.
