Chennai: The Tamilnadu Film Producers council (TFPC) has invited cable TV owners across Tamil Nadu to deal with them directly for any film rights related negotiations.
TFPC has announced that the PLC (Private Local Channel) Owners can access directly without the intermediary for film rights and other documents. Actor Vishal, who heads both Artist Association and Film Producers council made the statement on 25th November 2017. The decision has been taken to support the industry with limited formalities to obtain copyrights and licenses without the intermediaries and also to support the cable TV business.
TFPC has been given 4 exclusive cell numbers to deal with all kinds of interactions between the producer’s Council and the PLC owners:

Private Local Channel owners can contact the above-mentioned numbers from 10 AM to 7 PM from Monday to Saturday.
Vishal is making a number of activities on Movies’ Cable TV rights after taking charge as chairman of the TFPC, and also a discussion was held at Chennai Raghavendra Mandapam with PLCs of Tamilnadu earlier. Another meeting of similar nature is expected to happen shortly to finalise the deal.
This development is likely to end the Copyrights issues of TN Cinema Content comes to an end with PLCs.
