Mumbai: The country’s youngest live events start-up to achieve national scale, Team Innovation today announced the official launch of its North America operations under its subsidiary arm, Team Innovation International. The expansion marks a significant milestone in the India-headquartered company’s global growth strategy and establishes a strong live entertainment presence across India, the Middle East and North America.
The move follows the successful 2024 trial presentation of the Sitar for Mental Health concert by Rishab Rikhiram Sharma in the region, which demonstrated strong audience engagement and market potential. Building on that success, Team Innovation plans to scale to over 50 shows annually across North America, curating tours featuring leading Asian and global talent across a multitude of music and entertainment genres. The company will also produce the North American leg of Anuv Jain’s Dastakhat Tour in the second half of 2026.
The North America operations will be overseen by Malay Shodhan, who will serve as Managing Partner and CEO of Team Innovation North America. A global advocate of the experience economy, Shodhan is known for connecting cultures through immersive live entertainment and engagement-led formats. Often described as an ‘audience finder’, he specializes in building high-impact experiences that create lasting emotional connections. Shodhan is the founder of multiple innovative platforms including ASNEVERB4, Ultimate Pop Show, Ultimate Connect and the Sabarmati Festival. With prior leadership roles at Intel, IBM and Lenovo, he brings strategic depth and entrepreneurial expertise to the expanding organization.
Team Innovation already operates full-fledged Middle East operations led by Managing Partner Sagar Chandwani, having successfully executed concerts in the region featuring Talwiinder, Anuv Jain, AP Dhillon and Karan Aujla.
