Telangana: Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekhar Rao has given thumbs-up for the filmmakers to resume their shoot and post-production works by strictly following COVID-19 guidelines advised by the state and central government.
However, Theatre doors will remain shut in Telangana until it gets approved by Central government for reopening and also it’ll be kept closed in order to curb the community spread of Covid-19.
Ace Actors & Filmmakers in Tollywood Cinema Industry namely Chiranjeev, Nagarjuna, director Rajamouli met the CM recently at Pragathi Bhavan and requested to allow them to resume their shoots. Considering their request and the livelihood of workers in Cine industry, CM has advised to resume shooting having safety guidelines on place.
Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other film personalities met and prepared the draft guidelines. The film personalities have also assured that they will abide by the guidelines given by state and central government.
Projects stucked in shooting and at post production phase like RRR, Parvam and Narappa and untitled films of Chiranjeevi and Prabhas are set to resume their works with immediate effect.
