The Adaption of AI in India: Kuldeep Chaudhary, Chief Executive Officer, ADOHM

The increase of tech-companies is successfully driving India into a new age of technology, especially with the use of AI. AI or Artificial Intelligence is the use of a computer to solve real human problems. Its efficiency is greater than what humans have previously offered. A lot of Indian companies are presently providing services in healthcare, hospitality, banking, and other industries using AI technology, and so far, it has been successful. Today India is far better than what it was 10 years ago.

Brands like Staqu, Haptik and Knowlarity are making use of AI to its utmost and helping the Indian ecosystem overall. While Staqu is helping the Police Department to battle crime, by empowering them with AI and facial recognition capabilities, Haptik is using smart AI assistant to assist people. It is one of the best creators of conversational AI and the platform intelligently understands the context of a customer conversation and quickly provides an immediate solution.

Knowlarity on the other hand uses AI to automate personalized and contextual calls. It uses the right pitch, accent, and language while conversing. With the advent and penetration of these technologies, brands can easily provide first class communication experience with customers. The AI system does this by accessing information from several data sources and also from key customer insights. A lot of sectors have also witnessed the impact of AI technology in India. The Indian Railways segment is seriously undergoing a severe revolution. AI is handling tasks in this system such as track maintenance by using automatic track detection machines to diagnose the state of a rail track. This can also help to predict the estimated life of tracks and tracks joint. Passengers are also informed about the delayed schedule in advance.

The Defense Sector has also witnessed the wave of change pioneered by AI. The government is working on projects that use unmanned tanks, vehicles, and robotic weaponry. This is an act to reduce the number of casualties in war.

Sectors like Agriculture, Healthcare and Real Estate are also seeing the adaption of AI at a swift rate. Microsoft in collaboration with ICRISAT has created a sowing app which informs farmers on the best day to sow. Farmers don’t need to spend money in putting sensors into the ground, all they need is just their cell phone to receive messages. This app doesn’t just tell them when to sow, it also updates them on pest attack. Villages across Telangana, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, are already enjoying this service. Microsoft is also cooperating with companies to create AI-based products like the 3 Nethra that can scan the eye and detect any problem.

AI has also impacted on the real estate sector rapidly in India. No longer does one need to go to offices when searching for an apartment, with search engines such as Google, you can get the correct and precise answers to your questions. It has always been an issue for sellers to find their right buyers for decades, because their offices may be in locations you don’t know, but with search engines, you can easily find the exact property and agent you need.We at ADOHM also provide a unified marketing and sales platform to find consumers, engage them and personalize their experience across multiple touch points using AI with ease. Some musicians have been signed into record labels just by posting their songs on social media; others have become millionaires because of their online fame. The social media has been greatly influenced by the coming in of Marketing Automation tools such as chat bots. They provide super high automation; meaning a more efficient and speedily result.Thus all in all Indian market for AI and adoption for AI is massive. I am sure there are lot of exciting innovations in store for brands as well as individuals in the market.
