Mumbai: The Hello Group India (THG India), a joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment India and global entertainment company The Hello Group, has signed acclaimed Indian singer Nikhita Gandhi to an exclusive worldwide management and bookings deal.
With approximately 12 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 3.5 billion combined streams, Nikhita Gandhi stands among India’s most recognisable voices. She has delivered chart-topping Bollywood hits such as Naach Meri Rani with Guru Randhawa, Tere Pyaar Mein with Arijit Singh, and Qaafirana composed by Amit Trivedi, alongside acclaimed pop collaborations like O’ Sajna with Badshah. Her solo pop releases, including Pyaar Mein Paagal and Maharani, have further showcased her versatility.
Her latest track, Aavan Jaavan — created with Pritam and Arijit Singh for the upcoming War 2 movie — has already crossed 47 million views in just 10 days, adding to her growing list of musical milestones.
Under the THG India partnership, Nikhita is set to pioneer a fresh Hindi urban-pop sound, fusing Afrobeat rhythms with South Asian instrumentation. She has begun collaborating with THG’s network of leading local and global producers and writers, with a full rebrand and a debut collaboration EP set for release in the coming weeks.
Taylor Jones, CEO of THG India, said, “Nikhita is a rare talent whose artistry transcends genres and borders, and we share a clear, aligned vision for her career. She’s not only a powerful, unique voice, but also a gifted songwriter and producer — a combination that’s exceptionally rare and fits well into our A&R process. Coupled with her undeniable presence on and off stage, and her relentless work ethic, she is truly a force to be reckoned with. At THG India, we’re excited to champion her journey, driving a bespoke growth strategy backed by a dedicated, passionate team built on transparency, performance, and, above all, the relentless pursuit of world-class music and creativity — qualities Nikhita embodies in everything she does.”
Nikhita Gandhi commented, “This feels like the perfect new home for me — a place where I can create, develop, and grow with a team that truly understands my vision. I’ve found a management family that not only brings a 360° outlook, but also acts as a creative powerhouse. I’m so excited for this next chapter, to push my sound into new spaces, and to share the music we’ve been working on with the world.”
The deal marks another key milestone for THG India as it continues expanding its roster of top South Asian talent and building crossover opportunities for international audiences.
