Mumbai: The Sleep Company has announced the appointment of Hemal Jain as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its leadership team as the brand prepares for its next phase of growth.
Hemal brings over 20 years of rich and diverse experience across FMCG, food tech, quick commerce, B2B enterprises and startup consulting. Her professional journey includes impactful stints with industry leaders such as Hindustan Unilever (HUL) and Eternal, where she partnered closely with founders and CXOs, led large, high-performing teams and helped organizations navigate critical phases of growth.
Over the course of her career, Hemal has played a key role in transforming businesses from high cash burn to sustainable profitability. She has also contributed significantly to IPO and acquisition journeys, bringing a blend of strategic foresight and operational rigor.
Known for her philosophy that finance should function as a strategic partner rather than a back-end enabler, Hemal advocates for finance teams that drive sharper decision-making, build resilient systems and create long-term value.
“We are thrilled to welcome Hemal into The Sleep Company family.” said Priyanka Salot, co- founder – The Sleep Company. “As the company continues to grow, strong financial discipline and clear decision-making are essential. Hemal’s experience in building finance teams across large consumer and digital organisations, along with his ability to balance growth and control, will support The Sleep Company.”
As The Sleep Company accelerates expansion, Hemal’s leadership is expected to play a critical role in strengthening the company’s financial architecture, enabling scalable innovation and ensuring that growth ambitions are supported by operational discipline.
