Trivandrum: Sun TV Network owned Malayalam entertainment channel Surya TV has witnessed all-time high ratings in week 45 against the premier of a Tamil movie.
The feat was achieved against the premier of actor Vijay starrer Super hit Tamil movie Their , which went on air on Sunday, 5th November 2017.
Their premier has reached 3.5 million impressions, On the back of that it features in Top 10 programmes of week 45 in Kerala market.
Also Theri’s telecast on Surya TV featured in the Top 10 most watched movies list in Kerala market in entire BARC period. It became the 6th most watched movie while Pulimurugan aired on Asianet in Wk 15 of 2017 remains the top most watched movie in Malayalam GEC market with 8.7 million impressions.
Bahubali 2 – The Conclusion premiered during Wk 35 of 2017 stood at No. 2 with an avg delivery of 6.7 million impressions. Apparently, Their premier becomes the 6th most watched movies in the history of Malayalam GEC market. Other than Theri all other movies in the Top 10 highly watched movies list were premiered on Asianet.
It may be noted that the numbers are due to the huge fan following for actor Vijay in Kerala market.
