Mumbai: The One Club for Creativity has announced its global jury lineup for Young Guns 23, featuring over 100 leading creative professionals from around the world — including three top names from India’s creative industry.
The prestigious Young Guns competition is the industry’s only global, cross-disciplinary, portfolio-based awards program that honors outstanding young creative professionals aged 30 and under. This year’s edition sees India represented on the global jury by:
-
Geet Rathi, Founder and Creative Director, Openfield, Mumbai
-
Sajid Shaikh, Creative Director, 46&2, Mumbai
-
Tanu Sinha, Head of Design, PepsiCo India & South Asia, Gurgaon
Their inclusion in the jury underscores India’s growing prominence in the global creative ecosystem. These professionals will join their international counterparts in evaluating submissions that span advertising, design, illustration, filmmaking, photography, and other creative disciplines.
Now in its 23rd edition, Young Guns continues to spotlight emerging talent from across the globe. Past winners have included Oscar-winning directors, globally acclaimed designers, and industry-defining creatives. Among them are the film directing duo DANIELS (Everything Everywhere All at Once), “Top Gun: Maverick” director Joseph Kosinski, and renowned graphic designers like Stefan Sagmeister and Jessica Walsh.
The competition accepts entries comprising both professional and personal work, with deadlines set for August 14 (early), August 28 (regular), and September 18 (final). Winners will be revealed in December.
All winners receive the iconic Young Guns Cube—reimagined each year by a past winner—along with a one-year One Club membership, permanent profile on the Young Guns site, and exclusive career opportunities.
This year’s award branding and cube design are led by Young Guns 19 winner and YG23 jury member Khyati Trehan, a senior designer at Google Creative Lab in New York and a proud alumnus of India’s design circuit.
Organized by the non-profit One Club for Creativity, revenue from the competition funds year-round initiatives supporting education, inclusion, gender equality, and creative development worldwide.
With Indian talent now integral to both judging and competing, Young Guns continues to be a launchpad for the next generation of global creative leaders.
