Chennai: Tamil Nadu government placed A John Louis IAS in full additional charge of the post of Managing Director of the stated owned Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable (TACTV).

The Government Order dated 2nd June 2018 stated that “A John Louis IAS, the Vice Chairman and CEO, Tamil Nadu Maritime Board shall hold full additional charge of Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation in place of J. Kumaragurubaran IAS, who was holding the additional charge.”
Arasu Cable TV has received the DAS license from I&B Ministry on 17th April 2017 and it is in the process of seeding Set top Boxes to Cable Homes across Tamil Nadu.
It presently offers both digital and analogue feeds in Tamil Nadu with separate distribution agreements for each player.
