Mumbai: VELS Film International has unveiled its highly anticipated film slate for 2025 to 2027, marking a bold new chapter in its cinematic journey. Released across its official social media platforms, the slate reveal video showcases a curated mix of commercial blockbusters, socially resonant dramas, and genre-defining projects, underscoring the studio’s creative scale and vision for the next three years.
The upcoming lineup features collaborations with a stellar roster of India’s most acclaimed filmmakers, including Sundar C, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Vetri Maaran, Mari Selvaraj, Prem Kumar, Jude Anthany Joseph, Arunraja Kamaraja, Vignesh Raja, Chella Ayyavu, and Ganesh K. Babu. In a nod to emerging talent, the slate also marks the directorial debut of YouTuber VJ Sidhu, further reaffirming VELS’ commitment to nurturing new voices in Indian cinema.
Featuring marquee actors such as Dhanush, Ravi Mohan, Nayanthara, and Vishnu Vishal, the new films promise a blend of mass appeal and high-calibre performances.

As part of its long-term strategy, VELS Film International is making major investments in infrastructure, studio space, and exhibition assets:
- Studio Expansion: Construction is underway for India’s largest indoor studio floor in Chennai, with plans to acquire additional production spaces across the region.
- Theme Park Ventures: VELS operates Vels Jollywood, a film-based theme park and shooting studio in Karnataka, enhancing its experiential and production footprint.
- Theatre Acquisitions: The company is in active pursuit of theatre acquisitions in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, aiming to strengthen downstream control in distribution and exhibition.
