New York: Verizon, the official telecommunication services sponsor for FIFA World Cup 26™, has announced the launch of Verizon Ultimate Access, offering its customers exclusive experiences leading up to and during the tournament. The initiative is backed by soccer icons including David Beckham, Tim Howard, Alyssa and Gisele Thompson, Hirving “Chucky” Lozano, and Sergio “Kun” Agüero.
“For me, there are few things as exciting as experiencing football live, whether that’s on or off the pitch, and so I am proud to partner with Verizon to celebrate their plans to give fans unprecedented access to the tournament,” said David Beckham, who is featured in Verizon’s 360 marketing campaign released today.
Verizon Ultimate Access will provide thousands of free tickets, with hundreds of customers eligible to win “Golden Tickets” for pitchside access. Verizon will also host a series of events, surprise giveaways, and merchandise collaborations on the road to FIFA World Cup 26™.

“The World Cup is the biggest sports event in the world and the fandom is unlike any other. We knew we wanted to deliver access and experiences to our customers that are once in a lifetime,” said Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon. “Our customers will get access throughout the World Cup – Beckham-style, with surprises, events and giveaways along the way.”
Free ticket drops start on October 2 at 9:00 AM EST through the My Verizon app via Verizon Access, the company’s premium access program. Additional giveaways, including sweepstakes for Golden Tickets, will continue leading up to the tournament.
Verizon will leverage its award-winning 5G network to power connectivity across FIFA World Cup 26™ venues, ensuring fans remain connected while delivering operational excellence and enhancing safety. This initiative reinforces Verizon’s commitment to growing soccer in the U.S., building on partnerships with MLS, NWSL, and LaLiga North America.
