VETO strengthens Connected TV offering with creator-led cricket coverage

Mumbai: VETO, a family-first CTV OTT platform, has unveiled a creator-led cricket content strategy around the upcoming T20 World Cup, as it sharpens its positioning as a trusted large-screen destination for families.

The platform has partnered with prominent cricket voices including Aakash Chopra, Ravichandran Ashwin, S. Badrinath, and senior cricket journalist Samip Rajguru to deliver expert-driven, multi-format cricket programming.

VETO’s T20 World Cup coverage will feature match previews, post-match analysis, tactical breakdowns, interactive watch-alongs, exclusive conversations, and behind-the-scenes insights — all available exclusively on the platform.

Positioning itself as the “Second Screen for the T20 World Cup,” VETO aims to cater to serious cricket fans seeking deeper context, tactical insights and expert perspectives beyond live broadcasts, within a seamless Connected TV experience tailored for family viewing.

The move signals VETO’s longer-term ambition to build a year-round cricket content ecosystem extending beyond marquee tournaments. By consolidating authoritative cricket voices on a single platform, the company is seeking to create a differentiated cricket destination focused on depth, credibility and community engagement in India’s rapidly expanding CTV market.
