Following receipt of the final sanction and approval from the NCLT, the Media & Communications Business undertaking of NXTDIGITAL Limited (NDL), including the assets and liabilities together with the subsidiaries stands transferred to Hinduja Global Solutions Limited (HGSL).
In line with this, Vynsley Fernandes, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at NXTDIGITAL has been inducted today into the Board of HGSL as additional Director; and has stepped down from the Board of NDL. He will continue as the Chief Executive Officer of the Media and Communications businesses at HGSL that extends from digital television via satellite (HITS) and cable to broadband, content syndication and teleshopping.
Amar Chintopanth, Whole Time Director and Chief Financial Officer will continue to lead the top management of NDL under the able guidance and leadership of the board of directors.
The new NDL (after giving effect to the Scheme) shall focus on the next phase of reorganization of NDL, gearing up with necessary regulatory and other preparatory actions.
