Mumbai: The Advertising Club marked a significant milestone as it celebrated 25 years of honoring excellence in advertising and marketing with the prestigious EMVIE Awards. The 25th edition of the EMVIES, presented in association with The Times of India and UltraTech Cement Limited, concluded on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The event recognized brand innovators and thought leaders for their groundbreaking brand and media strategies.

Widely regarded as the Oscars of the media industry, the EMVIE Awards celebrate Innovation, Strategy, Research, and seamless Integration. This year, The Advertising Club (TAC) set a new benchmark, with 33 agencies submitting a record-breaking 1,779 entries, out of which 443 were shortlisted. Over 1,000 professionals from the Media, Marketing, Advertising, and Research communities attended the event, where 1 Grand EMVIE, 46 Gold, 71 Silver, and 73 Bronze trophies were awarded.

Top Honors:

  • Best Media Agency of the Year: Wavemaker India (665 points)
  • Best Media Client of the Year: Mondelez India Foods Pvt. Ltd. (380 points)
  • Grand EMVIE: Initiative Media (India) Pvt. Ltd. for Amazon Prime Video – Gen AI, Interactive Storytelling, and Gangland Drama Equals Success for Mirzapur (Best Media Innovation: Best Use of AI for a Media Solution)
  • Second Place: Mindshare India (570 points)
  • Third Place: EssenceMediacom (275 points)

The EMVIE for Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (DE&I) was awarded to Interactive Avenues for Chhanv Foundation – Ek Macchhli Paani Mein Gayi: The Acid Attack Survivor’s Version.

The Young EMVIE of The Year was awarded to Navneet Kabra from Wavemaker India for Cadbury 5 Star & Cadbury Celebrations – The Joker Who Got Cadbury the Winning Hand.
