Mumbai: Workday, Inc., the AI platform for managing people, money, and agents, has announced the appointment of Sunil Jose as President of India, further strengthening the company’s commitment to the country as a key hub for talent, technology innovation, and strategic expansion.
With over three decades of experience in the IT sector, Sunil brings extensive leadership expertise across sales, enterprise technology, and market expansion. His previous leadership roles span Salesforce, IBM, Oracle, and BrowserStack, where he led high-performing teams and drove strategic growth in emerging markets.
In his new role, Sunil will spearhead Workday’s India growth strategy and go-to-market operations, anchoring the company’s expansion plans and reinforcing its presence in one of the most critical regions for its global operations. He will report to Simon Tate, President, APAC, Workday, and be based out of Mumbai.
This appointment comes at a significant time for Workday, following a series of investments in its India operations, including the launch of a local data center, expansion of its local sales team, and the strengthening of its partner ecosystem.
