WPP tops WARC Effective 100, wins 2025 triple crown

Ogilvy Mumbai secures Second Place for Creative Agencies

WPP tops WARC Effective 100, wins 2025 triple crown

Mumbai: WPP has been crowned the number one company on the WARC Effective 100 List for 2025, achieving the prestigious triple crown after topping the WARC Creative 100 and WARC Media 100 lists earlier this month. This recognition by WARC, a global authority on marketing effectiveness, reinforces WPP’s commitment to delivering impactful, results-driven solutions for its clients.

Ogilvy has maintained its position as the top agency network in the Effective 100 rankings for the third consecutive year, following its dominance in the WARC Creative 100. VML also secured a spot in the top four, while other WPP agencies, including Mindshare, EssenceMediacom, Wavemaker, and AKQA, featured prominently in the top 25, showcasing the company’s combined strength in creativity and strategic impact.

WPP agencies dominated the media agency effectiveness rankings, claiming four of the top ten positions.

  • Wavemaker Mumbai ranked #1 globally
  • Mindshare New York secured the #3 spot
  • EssenceMediacom New York, Mindshare Amsterdam, Mindshare Mumbai, and Wavemaker London also ranked in the top 20

Ogilvy Mumbai ranked second globally in the creative agency effectiveness category, alongside Ogilvy London and Ogilvy Athens, which also placed in the top 20.

WPP teams were responsible for half of the top ten campaigns globally. One of the standout projects, Unilever’s “The Cost of Beauty”, created by Ogilvy and Mindshare, ranked third overall for its impactful storytelling on the harmful effects of beauty content on young people, generating over 2.5 billion impressions in earned media.
