Mumbai: Zee Cinema is all set to premiere the ever-encouraging story of a girl who dared to dream, with the World Television Premiere of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor, alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi and premieres on the channel on 27th December at 8 pm.
The film is a heart-warming story about dreams, hope, the struggles and triumph of a remarkable woman, but most importantly, it’s about a beautiful father-daughter relationship – a relationship that prepared Gunjan for a flight in the turbulent ‘societal’ skies, aligning her wings; propelling her to never give up. Gunjan’s dream to soar in the sky was given wings by her father who stood like rock in every moment. With a heartwarming story, overwhelming emotions and soulful music that ties it all together, the plot of this family entertainer moves along the life of an ambitious Gunjan Saxena who eyes becoming a pilot after being drawn by the idea of a life in a cockpit.
