Mumbai: Zee Cinema to premiere action entertainer film Surya The Soldier on Saturday, 29th June at 9pm. Directed by debutant Vakkantham Vams, the movie stars the fresh pairing of Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel along with Arjun Sarja, R. Sarathkumar, Thakur Anoop Singh and Boman Irani in supporting roles.
The movie revolves around an aggressive soldier Surya (Allu Arjun) whose dream is to fight at the border so that people in his country can live in peace and prosper. His anger management issues become a hindrance to his dream and he almost loses his job due to a misjudged impulsive decision. Colonel Sanjay Srivasthav agrees to let him keep his job but only on the condition that he successfully completes a task that will help him with his anger issues. Things take an ugly turn when he gets entangled with the doings of a dreaded gangster.
