Mumbai: In a move that merges innovation, entrepreneurship, and entertainment, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (‘Z’) has announced a strategic partnership with integrated startup platform Ideabaaz Tech Pvt. Ltd. to launch Ideabaaz, a reality IP designed to unearth entrepreneurial talent from India’s tier II and tier III markets.
The collaboration marks a significant milestone in ZEE’s vision to expand its content and technology portfolio by building purpose-driven entertainment that fosters societal impact. Ideabaaz will be jointly developed and co-funded by ZEE and Ideabaaz Tech Pvt. Ltd., and aims to create India’s largest grassroots startup ecosystem by giving budding entrepreneurs a national and international platform to showcase their ideas.
Founded by Jeet Wagh and Family, Ideabaaz is an innovation-first platform with a mission to discover, mentor, and fund entrepreneurs from underserved regions of the country. The IP brings together the storytelling prowess of ZEE—reaching over 1.3 billion viewers globally—and the entrepreneurial ethos of Ideabaaz, curating an inclusive initiative in line with India’s tech-driven vision for 2047.
The show, conceptualized and curated by veteran media executive Raj Nayak, alongside founders Jeet Wagh and Sagoon Wagh, will premiere on ZEE’s flagship Hindi channel Zee TV and digital platform ZEE5. Employing a dual-platform strategy, the show will harness the scale of television and the engagement potential of digital to reach diverse audience segments.
“This partnership is a perfect extension of ZEE’s commitment to creating meaningful content that goes beyond entertainment. Ideabaaz aligns with our omni-channel strategy and reinforces our belief in content that inspires and empowers,” said a ZEE spokesperson.

Jeet Wagh, Founder of Ideabaaz, emphasized the transformative potential of the initiative: “Our vision is to democratize access to opportunity. By collaborating with ZEE, we can amplify the voices of innovators from Bharat, nurture talent, and accelerate their growth on a global stage.”
The launch comes amid a broader national push towards entrepreneurship and innovation. The Government of India’s recently introduced RDI Scheme, backed by a ₹1 lakh crore fund, signals a strong intent to invest in technology-driven growth, further underlining the relevance of initiatives like Ideabaaz.
This new partnership follows ZEE’s earlier alliance with content-tech startup Bullet to tap into the micro-drama segment, reinforcing its strategy of creating differentiated, scalable IPs at the convergence of content and tech.
As ZEE continues to explore new frontiers in entertainment, Ideabaaz is poised to become a landmark initiative in empowering India’s next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.
