The show delves into the themes of inner and outer beauty. The story centres on Deepa (played by debutant Diya Palakkal), an ordinary-looking girl who is outspoken, upright, honest, and full of life. Deepa is also a skilled tailor with an excellent sense of design. In contrast, Chirag (played by Bhuvan Gowda) is a young, successful businessman who owns a fashion brand and is passionate about fashion photography. For Chirag, his sister-in-law Soundharya (played by Preethi Srinivasa) is the most important person in his life, and he would never disobey her. Soundharya has always regarded beauty over an individual’s character.
Deepa has never wanted to get married, she has only wanted to take care of her parents, but her fate takes a drastic turn when her elder sister Roopa (played by Kavya Ramesh) elopes on her wedding day, forcing Deepa to marry Roopa’s groom, Chirag. The series follows Deepa’s journey as she strives to win over her husband and his family while pursuing her own dreams and aspirations. The show is about how Deepa navigates these challenges.
