Bengaluru: Zee Kannada has announced the launch of its new fiction drama Krishna Rukku, which will premiere on March 9 at 6:30 PM on the channel and on ZEE5 Kannada. The show blends themes of love, revenge and destiny with family values and emotional storytelling.
Positioned as an engaging family drama, Krishna Rukku revolves around the life of Rukku, who takes on the responsibility of her entire family after the untimely demise of her elder brother. The narrative explores the complex journey of Krishna and Rukku as their lives intertwine through love, conflict and destiny, unfolding through a series of emotional and dramatic twists.
The show features Mouna Guddemane in the role of Rukku and Akshay Nayak as Krishna. The cast also includes veteran filmmaker, producer, writer and actor S Narayan in the pivotal role of Surya Prakash. Actress Suchitra marks her return to Kannada television with the series, while singer Naveen Sajju and several other artists feature in supporting roles.
Produced by Dileep Raj and Srividya under the banner of Dhriti Creations, the show aims to deliver compelling storytelling, strong performances and high production values.
