Mumbai: Zee Music Company has expanded its artist roster with the signing of iconic composer, singer and pianist Adnan Sami for exclusive non-film music releases. Strengthening its push into artist-led music, the label has also onboarded contemporary pop artist and producer QARAN.
Launched in 2014, Zee Music Company has grown into one of India’s leading music labels and publishers, with a catalogue that spans Bollywood soundtracks and a growing portfolio of non-film music.
As part of the expansion, the label has signed Padma Shri awardee Adnan Sami to its artist roster, marking a new collaboration in the independent music space. A singer, composer and virtuoso pianist, Sami has been one of the most influential voices in Indian pop and film music for more than three decades. His repertoire includes several defining pop hits such as Lift Karade, Kabhi To Nazar Milao, Tera Chehra and Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein.
