Chennai: ZEE Tamil, a Tamil television channel in Tamil Nadu, is all set to captivate audiences with the second season of its popular show, Idhayam. Known for its unique storyline and compelling characters, Idhayam has won the hearts of viewers across Tamil Nadu. The new season will telecast from Monday, 24th March at 2 PM on ZEE Tamil.
In the previous season, Idhayam saw Richard and Janani Ashok Kumar playing the lead roles, with the story concluding as Aadhi left for America, determined to erase all memories of Bharathi. With Season 2 premiering today, the drama takes a fresh turn with exciting new developments.
A key change in the new season is the recasting of the character Bharathi. Pallavi Gowda will now play the role, replacing Janani. Pallavi, who has previously worked alongside Richard in a Telugu serial, is expected to resonate well with the audience. Additionally, actress Pareena will be joining the cast as Aadhi’s close friend, adding further depth to the storyline.
The upcoming season follows Aadhi’s journey in America, where he meets a friend and eventually falls in love. The couple becomes engaged and returns to India for their wedding after a gap of five years, setting the stage for a reunion that promises to stir old memories. Meanwhile, Bharathi continues to live in Chennai with her two children, setting up the central question of the new season: as Aadhi reaches Chennai for his wedding, will he come face-to-face with Bharathi?
