Mumbai: Zee TV, the flagship Hindi GEC of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL), has reported a strong surge in viewership, driven by its refreshed fiction line-up and audience-focused content strategy. With compelling narratives, relatable characters, and powerful emotional storytelling, the channel has reached a 3-year high urban market share of 14.7% in Q2FY26 and secured leadership across all GECs (Pay & FTA) in core prime time.
Zee TV has also captured a dominant 40% share of the Top 10 shows in the Pay Hindi GEC genre, with four of its newly launched fiction series making the list. These include ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’, ‘Vasudha’, ‘Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan’, and ‘Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’—all of which have delivered sustained week-on-week audience growth.
The channel’s renewed content philosophy focuses on uplifting stories, emotional depth and strong character-driven narratives. Shows like Vasudha and Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan have resonated deeply with audiences, reflecting modern India’s blend of values, ambition and aspiration.
To build further on this momentum, Zee TV recently launched ‘Jagadhatri’ and is gearing up for the premiere of ‘Lakshmi Niwas’, reinforcing its commitment to high-quality, rooted storytelling.
