Mumbai: Marathi ZEE5, the premiere destination for Marathi entertainment, has unveiled the trailer of its upcoming original series ‘Hey Kay Navin?’. Headlined by Umesh Kamat as Aditya and Priya Bapat as Rama, and directed by Varun Narvekar, the series offers a heartfelt, relatable slice‑of‑life drama that explores what unfolds when couples move past life’s major milestones—only to realise their journey looks nothing like those around them. Featuring an ensemble cast including Shubhangi Gokhale, Uday Tikekar, Suyog Gorhe, Rajasi Bhave, Omkar Govardhan, Tanvi Kulkarni, and Payal Jadhav among others, ‘Hey Kay Navin?’ is set to premiere on Marathi ZEE5 on 31st March.
Produced by Pratisaad Productions and Bahawa Entertainment, ‘Hey Kay Navin?’ follows Rama and Aditya—a modern, seemingly settled couple who have checked every box life asked of them. A warm home, steady careers, a supportive family, and a marriage built on 10 years of comfort and understanding. But as they enter a new chapter, an unexpected question begins to echo between them: What comes after “happily ever after”?
Hoping to break out of her routine, Rama takes a sabbatical and throws herself into a creative venture of her own—a small, self-built clothing line that starts as a hobby but slowly begins to take on a deeper meaning. What begins as an experiment soon becomes something she nurtures with the care, urgency, and vulnerability of a new parent… a project that feels like the ‘baby’ she never planned for but suddenly can’t ignore.
As new friendships, shifting dynamics, and the weight of everyone else’s “perfect timelines” start influencing her world, the couple finds themselves navigating choices that test their bond in ways neither anticipated. Blending humour, warmth, and sharp emotional insight, the series explores identity, evolving ambitions, partnership, and the unspoken anxieties that surface when life appears ‘complete’ from the outside.
