Mr Avnindra Mohan – President (Legal & Regulatory) as The “Legal Icon of the Year”
Mumbai:It has been a defining moment for Zee family as it got two most prestigious awards in the Media & Entertainment Categoryin the 7th Annual Legal Era Awards 2018ceremony which was held on Saturday, 24th March 2018 at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai.An Award was bestowed to Zee Legal team for the “Best Media & Entertainment Legal team for the year 2017-18” and another Distinguished Award – “Legal Icon of the Year” was conferred onMr. Avnindra Mohan – President (Legal & Regulatory).This is a recognition forMr. A. Mohan and Mr. Viresh Dhaibar – Chief Legal Counsel of ZEEL for having led the Zee Legal team to be the best in the Industry. It is also a recognition and acknowledgement of the achievementsof Mr. Mohan for being a Legal Professional of high calibre with multifarious accomplishments and contribution to the Broadcasting Sector. The function was graced by the presence of Shri P. P Chaudhary, the Union Minister of State for Ministry of Law, Justice and Corporate Affairs and Hon’ble Justice A.K Sikri and Justice Deepak Verma – Judge(s), Supreme Court of India
The elite Jury consisted of eminent persona From the Legal fraternity viz. Justice Deepak Verma and Justice A.K. Patnaik – former Judge(s), Supreme Court of India, Dr.Lalit Bhasin, President – Bar Association of India, Mr. R.A. Shah – Solicitor and Sr. Partner, Crawford Bayley & Co and Mr. A.K. Raizada – Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, legal Media Group. The selection was based on weightage given for Quantity of Work, Diversity, Quality Delivered, and Display of business oriented vision. The judges looked upon for clear and specific evidence of teamwork and signs of how the team has found a way to achieve the Excellence, Professionalism and High Ethical Standards. The Awards were for “Recognition of Legal Finesse, Innovation & Accomplishment”
In his post award address Mr. Mohan won the hearts of audience with his heart warming sentiments when he said:

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India which is an Apex body of Chartered Accountants in India had earlier in January 2018 conferred Mr. Avnindra Mohan who is also a Chartered Accountant and Management Graduate – the prestigious award in the category “CA Distinguished Achiever-2017” for exceptional performances and achievements.
