Singapore: The star headliner for community & local sports production & streaming, 1 Play Sports Pte. Ltd., has appointed Jesal Parekh, a gaming and esports expert and Ex-Team Flash COO, Singapore as its Head of Esports effective from May 2020.
Before serving as the COO of Team Flash in Singapore, Parekh was positioned at OpTic Gaming, USA, as International Development Director and led its expansion into India, Southeast Asia, Mexico, & Brazil.
Jesal, with his tremendous experience of working along some of the leading esports companies in the world, will drive the company’s business expansion in esports and spear initiatives to bring 1 Play Sports at the forefront of the field in Southeast Asia.

The response for our esports content has been amazing and we have already garnered over 1.8 million views since we kicked-off esports tournaments in April. Jesal has developed and managed prominent teams across OpTic Gaming and Team Flash in titles such as League of Legends, Dota 2, Counterstrike, Overwatch, PUBG, Call of Duty, and several others. During his tenure in the field, Parekh has also served as an advisor and consultant for multiple esports and gaming companies around Southeast Asia and the United States.
