Gurugram: AHEAD, a provider of digital platform engineering and transformation services, has announced the appointment of Prajwal UI as Director – People & Operations, India. In his new role, Prajwal will lead AHEAD’s people strategy, operational excellence, and organizational transformation initiatives across its India operations.
Prajwal brings over two decades of experience spanning human resources leadership, business transformation, and HR technology across global enterprises. His expertise includes talent management, performance and rewards frameworks, compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion programs, HR automation, and SAP HCM–driven process transformation.
Most recently, Prajwal served as Director – Human Resources at Unisys India, where he played a key role in strengthening talent strategy, driving operational efficiency, and supporting business growth across hybrid and multi-location teams. Prior to this, he spent more than a decade at Wipro Technologies as Senior Manager – Human Resources and HRBP Lead for the Telecom Business Unit and the CTO function. During his tenure, he also led HR for one of Wipro’s US acquisitions and program-managed the persons with disabilities (PwD) initiative under the company’s diversity and inclusion charter.

Earlier in his career, Prajwal held HR and consulting roles at Infosys Technologies, SAP India, and Comat Technologies. He holds a PGDM in Human Resources and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is a trained SAP HR functional consultant with hands-on experience in automating and optimizing enterprise HR processes.
