Chennai: Tamil GEC Zee Tamizh has found a new Non Fiction Head in Shyam Sankar, who will be replacing Dhanavijayan from the end of November.
Market sources confirmed that Dhanavijayan has moved on from the channel by October end and apparently, Shyam Sankar moves in from Zee Telugu where he was working under Channel Head of Zee Telugu Anuradha as In-charge of Non Fiction programs for the past four years.
Shyam sankar had handled almost all the nonfiction shows in Zee Telugu such as Kondaveti Raja Kotalo Rani which was in line of Tribal, Vare Va, Koncham Touchlo Unte Chepta, Mondi Mogudu Pinili Pellam, Soundaryalahari etc.
Shyam Sankar is a show director himself and prior to joining Zee Telugu he worked as freelance director for various Non Fiction shows in Tamil and Kannada.
Zee Tamizh is constantly trying with big ticket Non Fiction shows like Dance Tamila Dance, DTD Lil Masters and Luck Kick etc…, which are formats of Zee TV and Zee Telugu. The channel also has ‘Solvadellam Unmai” which is the top rated show.
