Trivandrum: Sun TV Network’s Malayalam GEC Surya TV is set to launch new Celebrity driven Comedy Reality show titled Laughing Villa during its weekend time bands @ 8:30 PM. The Show is set to go on-air from today onwards.
Surya TV has roped in Big Stars from the Malayalam Film and Television Industry for this Comedy based Reality Show. The show has Actors such as Navya Nair, Manianpilla Raju, Manju Pillai, Noby, Surabhi and Nazeer.
Laughing Villa on Surya TV will see each comedy artist as members of the Villa and living as a character in it. The members of villa will also have a team under them, who will be performing comedy skit and tickling the funny bones of the audience. The Villa members and a visiting guest will judge the performance of the team.
The visiting guests of Launghing Villa will be having an agenda and the members will be reacting towards the witty agenda in a funny manner. Actress Navya Nair will be the owner of Villa.
The Channel also roped in Actor Jayaram as a Celebrity Anchor in the Launch Episode to introduce each of the Characters of the Comedy Villa.
Speaking to tvnews4u.com Mr Saju David – Vice President – Programming for Surya TV said, “After many years Surya TV is launching a Comedy show with reality factors that was created with extravaganza. The huge sets of the show were build to make it look more lively where the guests will straightaway drive in to the sets and become a part of the on-going skits, we hope this unique show will raise the bar of Surya TV further as we have bounced back to No. 2 spot among Malayalam GECs in week 29”
Another special factor that highlights the importance of the show is Actor Jagathi Sreekumar, regarded as the King of Comedy among Malayalam audience is appearing in the show for the first time in a Show after the ill-fated accident in 2012 that destabilised him out of action for many years.
The show is expected to deliver good numbers for Surya TV, as the channel has put in greater efforts to ensure high quality standards in all aspects.
