Mumbai: After 16 years of showcasing the best innovations in technology from around the world, BBC Click has gone live!
For the first time, the BBC’s flagship technology program gave a live audience the opportunity to step inside of their television and take an inspirational journey to the future with presenter Spencer Kelly. The event was filmed in front of a live audience at the BBC’s Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, London, and will be broadcast on BBC World News at 12noon IST on Saturday 31 December.
Click Live explores the latest developments in artificial intelligence, hologram technology and 360° sound. The program includes demonstrations from NASA representatives, who show their research in the rapidly evolving area of mixed reality, and examples of the life changing work that top robotics scientist Dr Ravi Vaidyanathan and his team have been doing for quadriplegics.
This special program also shows international audiences exactly what goes into putting together a live Click production. From the ins and outs of producing a television program, to the risks of demonstrating cutting-edge prototypes that are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in front of a live studio audience, Click Live provides a behind-the-scenes look at the program’s latest endeavor.
