Kolkata: Rejuvenating the oldest form of performing arts, Colors Bangla raises the curtains on its newest production Hometheatre. Conceptualized and Produced by Bratya Basu, together with Colors Bangla, the show will present the works of famous playwrights like Ujjwal Chattopadhyay, Bratya Basu, Bibhash Chakroborty and many others. Airing every Sunday,Hometheatre comes to television screens on Sunday, April 16 at 6pm.
Journeying to the earliest medium of entertainment, Hometheatre will revive and recreate 24 of the most enigmatic theatre tales for television audience. Roping in famous theatre and television personalities such as Debshankar Halder, Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Goutam Halder, Subhashis Mukherjee, Rittwik, Satabdi Roy, Anirban Bhattacharya, Debjani and many more, Hometheatre will bring alive the critically acclaimed plays in various genres including, Drama, Romance, Thrillers, Comedy, Social Issues et all though Boma, Meghe Dhaka Tara, Adya Sesh Rajani, Teesta, Joy Maa Kali Boarding, Srimoti Bhoyonkori, and others.

With Bratya Basu steering the show will influence a trend that will give rise to new perspective towards theatre performances.”
