Mumbai: Channel2 Chairman, Ajay Sethi won the T20 franchise, Port Elizabeth for the Global T20 Destination League to be held in South Africa later this year. Cricket South Africa T20 Global Destination League, 45 days citywide festival centered on Cricket, Fun & Entertainment organized a Bidding ceremony for their 5 teams: Johannesburg- The Wanderers, Durban-Kings mead, Pretoria- Centurion Cape town – Newlands, Port Elizabeth – St Georges Park.
Mr. Ajay Sethi, a visionary that he is realized that the amalgamation of cricket and Bollywood has proved to be a success. A big leap in the era of Sportainment. Thus the Chairman of Channel2 with the ability to think ahead of the game won the bet and accredited Port Elizabeth in arena.
Commenting on the occasion, Ajay Sethi said, “Port Elizabeth is a beautiful city revolving around the ocean and is deeply entrenched with interesting cricketing history.
