Mumbai: On the occasion of Children’s Day, Big FM has conceptualized a novel initiative of encouraging the kids to follow their dreams. Titled ‘Big Junior Rockstars’ the activity aims at reaching out to the parents of the young guns and urging them to let their child pursue their interests. With a view to bring this idea to the fore, the radio station associated with the renowned Mount Litera School International, Mumbai. The kids of the school lent their voice for a dedicated song composed by a well-known percussionist,themed around the special day.
BIG FM is commemorating Children’s Day by releasing the music video showcasing the kids of the school and embedding the thought that ‘Every Child is a Rockstar’. The music of the song was created by the kids of the school with acoustic sounds using their daily objects such as lunch boxes, compass boxes, pencils, toys etc.
The kids were mentored and encouraged by the composer to sing the song in their own style. The beautiful video promoting the message of encouraging kids to pursue their dreams will make Children’s Day even more special as it will add to the excitement of every kid who is keen on following his own path. With this distinguished concept, the radio station continues to deliver on its ethos of providing entertainment with a cause and engage listeners and the audiences alike with the appealing content of the music video.
In order to keep up with the momentum related to Children’s Day, the radio network also held on-air contests where the MJs played certain parts of the track and asked listeners to guess which instrument or object has been used to make that sound.
