Chennai: Zee Tamil has announced the World Television Premiere of Kattappava Kannom. A popular film that left a striking impression on the audiences with its novel plot and distinct genre using a fresh element of dark humour, stars Sibi Sathyaraj and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles.
Comery hit movie Kattappava Kannom will be aired on Sunday, 18th February at 4:00 PM on Zee Tamil and Zee Tamil HD. This World Television Premiere is part of the channel’s newly launched segment, Sunday Surprise – 4 Mani – Nanga Than Ini which will exclusively air back-to-back World Television Premieres every Sunday!
Written and directed by Mani Selyon, Kattappava Kannom features a talented pool of actors with Sibi playing the role of Pandya and Aishwarya as Meena. The plot of the film surrounds the life of Pandya, who firmly believes that luck never favours him as a result of recurring bad experiences. His marriage to his love, Meena, and his chance encounter with Kattappa, a lucky goldfish, forms the crux of the story.
The upcoming movies in the Sunday Surprise – 4 Mani – Nanga Than Ini segment are neo-noir crime psychological thriller – Kutrume Thandanai in the last weekend of February, followed by comedy film – Enakku Vaaitha Adimagal,romantic musical – Meendum Oru Kadhal Kathai, drama film – Kadugu and the dark comedy – Peechankai in the month of March.
