GreenCheese PR enters Bangalore; wins the mandate of TheCollegeFever

New Delhi: Ticketing event startup The College Fever has mandated PR Consultancy Green Cheese to manage public relations and communications.

The mandate of the Bangalore based startup will take effect From the month of February. With the account in hand, GreenCheese has ventured into the Bangalore market. Eyeing to grab a slice of Southern India’s startup market, CEO & Founder of GreenCheese, Lovejeet Alexander says, “Every new account excites us but the change in the geographical area this time has added much to our zeal. After NCR, we are venturing out into the biggest Startup zone of India and since we are the most dynamic and fastest growing startup PR consultancy of India, staying away From Bangalore wasn’t an option.”

TheCollegeFever promises to be the one-stop-solution for event organisers who can not just list and promote their events through the vast reach of the platform but also use it for ticket bookings, fund management, sponsorship raising and merchandise sales. The role of GreenCheese will be to build a strategic framework for the startup by establishing the brand’s core values that define it across the country and strengthen the brand’s positioning as a game changer startup that’s set to rewrite the event management and ticketing solutions for colleges and institutes.

GreenCheese will focus on raising awareness and brand recognition within the education, youth, and startup media outlets, as well as attracting brands and other potential partners. The consultancy is known for its expertise in the field of PR for startups.

Commenting on the appointment, Kushal Arallihali, Founder TheCollegeFever, said, “The strategic framework for PR and communication recommended by GreenCheese was well appreciated. Talking about the win, Alex said, “This is the start of a great association. And beauty of the association lies in the fact that our teams haven’t met face to face, yet still. This is probably India’s first PR mandate that any consultancy won over a Skype call and remote presentation. We truly represent and resonate the startup culture and that’s why we understand their requirements better than the dinosaurs of the trade.”

Speaking about the venture, Kushal said, “We are India’s biggest platform for campus events and now we have started moving beyond colleges too. A recent NUCLEYA gig is one example of our efficiency.” “Alex’s proven history of generating measurable results for clients made him the clear choice during our consultant selection process,” said Kushal. “GreenCheese, under the leadership of Alex, will help continue building our reputation among some of the best and most recognisable startup brands in India.”

Financial details of the mandate were not disclosed but GreenCheese is planning to set a branch and initiate full-fledged operations From Bangalore sometime soon. As of now, the accounts will be led and managed From Gurugram headquarters only and the team will be traveling to Bangalore frequently. Recruitment process for the Bangalore branch has already begun, revealed Alex.
