Mumbai: Pokémon GO is bringing its global gaming community together with Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global, scheduled for July 11–12, while hosting special Community Celebrations across Bengaluru, Mumbai and New Delhi ahead of the flagship event.
As part of the celebrations marking a decade of Pokémon GO encouraging players to explore the outdoors, Trainers across India are invited to participate in day-long community events on July 6, featuring in-game activities, raid battles, exclusive rewards and meet-and-greet experiences with popular digital creators.
The celebrations will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. IST at Freedom Park in Bengaluru, Carter Road in Mumbai and Baansera Park in New Delhi.
Adding to the festivities, content creator Ashish Chanchlani will join the Mumbai event, while Nischay Malhan (Triggered Insaan) and Ujjwal Chaurasia (Techno Gamerz) will participate in the New Delhi celebration.
Players attending the events will be able to take part in Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y Raid Battles, alongside encounters with several featured Pokémon throughout the day.
Each venue will feature a dedicated Pokémon GO pop-up experience offering photo opportunities, giveaways and Pokémon GO merchandise. Trainers checking in at the event will also receive exclusive Timed Research, unlocking Pokémon encounters and in-game rewards.
Local Community Ambassadors will be present at each venue to welcome participants, lead activities and celebrate alongside visiting Trainers, reinforcing Pokémon GO’s focus on fostering real-world community engagement through shared gameplay.
The Community Celebrations serve as a prelude to Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global, one of the game’s biggest annual events, bringing together players worldwide for a weekend of exclusive Pokémon encounters, challenges and collaborative experiences.
