Chennai: Zee Tamil is all set to launch the second season of its widely celebrated singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs. The show will feature astounding performances by junior contestants from across Tamil Nadu, ranging from 5 to 14 years of age, as they set out to redefine the boundaries of entertainment. Set to launch on 5th May 2018, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 2 will air every weekend at 6:30 PM on Zee Tamil and Zee Tamil HD.
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 2 will bring together, for the second edition in a row, a grand and accomplished panel of judges including the mesmerising vocalist Sujatha, popular playback singer Karthik, evergreen maestro Srinivas and the versatile singer-cum-music composer Vijay Prakash. The show will also feature an exemplary grand jury panel comprising of renowned music gurus. Hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs’ second season and motivating the contestants to put their best foot forward at every juncture will be Zee Tamil’s ultimate entertainer, the high-spirited Archana Chandhoke.
The second season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs will witness 40 young and talented superstars, shortlisted from thousands of aspiring singers. These contestants have been shortlisted after extensive auditions conducted in Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Chennai, Bangalore and Kochi. The final 20 contestants who will further compete for the title of the ultimate ‘Winner’ will be chosen through a round of blind auditions wherein the judges will be blindfolded to promote fairness. This will see the judges and the jury panel handpick those 20 tremendously talented young prodigies who will weave an aura of magic through their music across innovative themes and rounds.
Over its previous seasons, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors have established themselves as the most definitive singing reality show with talents that have been recognised in the industry leading to opportunities to work with renowned music composers including AR Rahman and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
