Mumbai : Endemol Shine India today announced the appointment of Gaurav Gokhale as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The appointment is a significant step to further diversify the business and create a strong foothold in the televisionand digital content space.In his new role, Gaurav will work closely with Abhishek Rege (CEO, Endemol Shine India) to leverage growth for Endemol Shine India. He will oversee all strategic operations related to production and play a key role in new business development and in identifying new verticals for Endemol Shine India.
An accomplished professional with an MBA from INSEAD (France/Singapore)and over a decade-long experience in the industry, Gaurav previously worked with Star India where he handled the all-India distribution for Star Sports. He played a pivotal role in launching Indian Super League & Hockey India League and was instrumental in handling business transition and brand refresh of Star Sports. Prior to joining Star India, Gaurav was associated with Nimbus Communications Limited as Head of Strategy & Business Development. Here, Gaurav managed corporate strategy, transactions & M&A opportunities for Nimbus. Gaurav started his career with BCG India where he worked as a management consultant helping organizations solve strategic issues and improve business performance.
