Chennai: Zee Tamil brings the world television premiere of ‘Saaho’ on 25th December at 2:30 pm.
Written and directed by Sujeeth and filmed simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, Saaho stars Prabhas of the Bahubali fame, and Shraddha Kapoor. The film boasts an impressive star cast marking the Bollywood debut of Actor Arun Vijay, Malayalam Director turned Actor ‘Lal’, along with Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Neel Nitin Mukesh in pivotal roles. This 2019 action thriller was one of the most awaited action Indian movies of the year with a whopping budget of Rs. 350 crores. The highlight of this mammoth project is the breathtaking action sequences choreographed by Hollywood Stunt Directors Kenny Bates, Peng Jhang & Bob Brown along with world class VFX effects, creating a visual treat through the neo-futuristic fictional ‘Waaji City’ designed by legendary production designer Sabu Cryil.
Saaho, a classic story of power struggle, begins when the head of the Roy Group of companies passes away in an accident. A battle for the coveted ‘throne’ then ensued among the prominent members of this family. Meanwhile, in India, undercover agent Ashok Chakravarthy and his partner Amritha Nair are on the lookout for a thief (Jai) who has made off with close to two trillion rupees. The movie proceeds to uncover the mysterious connection between these seemingly independent plot lines – a cop chase and an emerging gang war!
