New Delhi: Shiprocket, a tech-enabled logistics and fulfillment platform, has announced the appointment of Mr. Praful Poddar as its Senior Vice President in its Product team. In his new role, Praful will spearhead Shiprocket’s product development efforts while continuing to accelerate the platform’s vision of bringing industry-first products that solve key user needs of the market.
With nearly 15 years of rich experience in product management, Praful’s expertise and eye-for-detail have helped create products that have touched the lives of 100 million+ consumers across the world. Prior to joining Shiprocket, Praful was leading the Product division at OLX Group as the Director of Product Management. At OLX, he had been instrumental in kickstarting revenue generation for the consumer vertical and pivoting the business to a car-first experience across key emerging markets globally.
Apart from OLX Group, Praful has worked with notable organizations such as Snapdeal, Deloitte, and Evalueserve, and has also been a pro-bono consultant to the Ministry of Railways. He was also a part of the early product team at Snapdeal which contributed immensely to the company’s growth from a startup to a 4-billion-dollar business. For his stellar work, he was felicitated with the Global Innovation Award from Naspers/Prosus. Praful has also been invited to speak at leading product conferences including the Product Management Festival, Google Devfest, and UX/DX.

A data-driven logistics platform, Shiprocket has over 1 Lakh active D2C sellers on its platform coupled with over 17 expert courier partners to ensure seamless shipping and delivery of items. At present, the platform is looking to expand and augment its offerings and network PAN India and across select international markets.
