Mumbai: PGIM India Asset Management announces the appointment of Surjitt Singh Arora as Portfolio Manager, in charge of managing Portfolio Management Services – PGIM India Core Equity Portfolio and PGIM India Phoenix Portfolio.
Surjitt Singh Arora has more than 16 years of rich work experience in the Equity Markets including over 4 years in the asset management industry. In his last stint, Surjitt was Head – PMS and Head – Principal Officer with Tata Asset Management. Prior to thathe was with Tata Mutual Fund as Equity Research Analyst.
Speaking on the appointment, Ajit Menon, CEO, PGIM India Mutual Fund said ‘‘I am delighted to have Surjitt join us to lead our PMS strategies. I am confident that he will be able to add immense value to the team at PGIM India Asset Management and more importantly to our clients and partners on our PMS platform.’’
Surjitt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from Sydenham College, Mumbai and a Master’s degree in Management Studies from Sydenham Institute of Management and Research (SIMSREE), Mumbai.
