Advertising Club Madras celebrated its successful completion of 65 years of active functioning. The event was a gathering of veterans and key stakeholders of the advertising fraternity.
N. Murali, Director, Kasturi and Sons Limited presided over the event and felicitated some of the past presidents for their exemplary contribution to the growth of the club. The event was held at ITC Grand Chola on 29th of October 2022.
Paul Anthony, President of Advertising Club Madras welcomed the guests and promised of many more such endeavours to bring together the fellowship in the future. Followed by Balasubramanian, Secretary briefing the guests on the functioning and activities of the institution. Chockalingam, treasurer delivered the vote of thanks and solicited support from the industry in all its future activities.
The past presidents of Ad Club Madras namely Srinivasan K Swamy (1988 – 1989), K.A.Srinivasan (1992 – 1993), R.V.Rajan (1993 – 1995), C.D. Harish (1995 – 1997), U.Jayraj Rau (1997 – 1998), Jagannath Ramaswamy (1998 – 2000), Vijay Xavier (2000 – 2001), E.R Sreevatsa (2001 – 2003), (Late) V.Kalidas ( 2003 – 2005), Minitha Saxena (2005 – 2006), Ranju Kumar Mohan (2006 – 2008), R.Seshadri (2008 – 2010), were felicitated at the event.
