Mondelēz and Lotus Bakeries collaborate to expand Biscoff® in India and create co-branded chocolates in key markets

Mondelēz expands its Indian cookie market presence by manufacturing, marketing, and distributing the Lotus Biscoff® brand. They'll also create co-branded chocolate innovations globally.

Mondelēz International and Lotus Bakeries (Euronext: LOTB) have forged a strategic partnership to enhance the presence of the Lotus Biscoff® cookie brand in India. Additionally, they aim to introduce innovative chocolate products by combining Biscoff®’s distinctive flavor with Mondelēz’s renowned Cadbury, Milka, and other European chocolate brands, with potential global expansion. This collaboration unlocks growth opportunities in the cookie and chocolate sectors, with prospects for further market expansion and diversification.

Through this partnership, Mondelēz will produce, distribute, and sell Biscoff® cookies in India, leveraging its network. Lotus Bakeries aims for growth, while Mondelēz expands premium cookie offerings. Both companies will collaborate to create co-branded chocolate products for global markets, aiming to introduce innovative offerings that captivate consumers. Initial launches planned for early 2025.
